It is my obligation as an artist to critique my peers. I would expect nothing less from them.

I am an active viewer. I fully engage with the movies I watch and try my best to disappear into them. I rate movies based on how well they reward me for this effort.

I believe all movies should be the product of a sincere artistic vision with enough depth to feed my intellect without sacrficing good old fashioned entertainment value.

The movies I review follow a strict criteria defined as "whatever I feel like."

I write reviews in a timely fashion known as "whenever I get around to it."
